Outside School Hours Care: Extend Jobs

We have a number of roles available through our Outside School Hours Care provider, Extend.

Extend provides before and after school care for our students, creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment outside of regular school hours. These roles are a wonderful opportunity for people who enjoy working with children and contributing to a positive school community.

Graduate Program
Waverley Christian College is committed to providing best practice support for graduate teachers and teachers who are new to Christian Education. Our Graduate Teacher Program includes time release, mentoring, equipping for Christian Education and a comprehensive induction program that will help to develop the skills and competencies needed to become an effective classroom practitioner.
At Waverley Christian College, we place a high priority on developing an active professional learning culture. Wherever you are in your professional journey, we will support your growth from that point and beyond.
With a focus on a Love of Learning, we strive to nurture a community where excellence is encouraged, curiosity is embraced, and each person’s talents can grow. Careers progress both laterally and vertically, with roles advertised internally and externally to support staff advancement.

Our remuneration structures are commensurate with the Victorian Government Schools Agreement.

Staff are able to access salary packaging options (e.g., novated leases, mortgage payments, superannuation, devices) and the FlareHR benefits portal with retail, gym and holiday discounts.

School fees discounts are available for permanent staff whose children attend the school (conditions apply).

The College offers 12 weeks paid parental leave to the birth parent in addition to government schemes.
