Waverley Christian College is dedicated to providing students with high-quality education, grounded in Christian faith and values. Guided by our Four Loves Framework – Love God, Love Others, Love Learning and Love Life – each student has the opportunity to flourish spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
At Waverley Christian College, curriculum is taught from a Biblical perspective, with Christian values forming the foundation of all we do. Our staff are deeply committed to living out the College’s Christian ethos, guiding students to grow in their personal faith, serve their communities, and show respect and compassion towards others.
We seek to help students feel welcome from the very start of their school life. Our students benefit from an outstanding learning environment, supported by caring staff who are passionate about helping each child reach their potential. The College is well regarded for the strong academic achievements of its VCE students, with most gaining entry into their preferred university courses each year. For students pursuing alternative pathways, we offer a range of meaningful options through VCE VM and VET programs.

The most important things in life, according to Jesus Christ, are loving God and loving others. These are the foundational values of Waverley Christian College and govern all that we seek to be and do as we work and learn together.
Our History
Founded in 1978, Waverley Christian College has a long history of providing Christ-centred education to families in Melbourne’s east.
The College relocated to its current site in Wantirna South in 1989 and has since experienced steady growth. In 2012, the College expanded with the opening of a second campus in Narre Warren South, which has continued to flourish. Both campuses offer a full program from Prep through to Year 12, with a 4-Year-Old Kindergarten also available at Wantirna South.
Waverley Christian College operates as a ministry of CityLife Church, a vibrant Pentecostal church with a multi-site congregation. This partnership strengthens the College’s foundation of faith, community and service.
